When i cut them down the roots look like bulbs. Some were firm and some soggy. I cut off the soggy bits and repotted the bigger piece and propped these 3 smaller ones. They're doing fine. Wondering if i should keep them in water or plant them.

    I’ve never started spider plants in water! I usually just have a surplus of them so I chuck em on some dirt and after a while boom spider plants

    I’d wait until you have more of a root ball, they look like super thin roots, may break/ rot easily if you plant them too early

    Yes, ready. But yes, could have just plopped them in dirt and watered normally.
