Anyone have a name? Also does this need a bigger pot? It’s so heavy already! And the leaves are so dense at the top I can’t even see the soil

(Excuse my pink fingers, I’ve been dyeing some clothes lol)

  1. It might be heavy because its soggy with water. The weird leaves might have been compromised by said overwatering. I think it’s a Scindapsus Pictus ‘Exotica’.

That is a scindapsus pictus exotica – I believe not a “true pothos” but commonly referred to as a Silver Satin Pothos 🙂

I think you need to check the roots and change the soil to the mix for aroids with plenty amount of grit

    Hi! That’s a scindapsus!
It looks pretty dang happy, might lose some leaves bringing it home because they usually load these grocery store plants up on fertilizer, so it might go through a little withdrawal but it’ll adjust.

Can you see roots coming out the bottom of the pot? If so, you could repot, if not probably okay for a bit more. But also if you don’t like that pot you can always repot if you want.
Does the soil look okay on top? Sometimes I don’t like the grocery store soil so I just repot for those reasons, but otherwise should be okay!

It’s a scindapsus. Hope I spelt it correctly but I own 4 of them. They are very easy to care for water once a week.
