Hey there, friends! I recently got a snake plant as my entry into the world of plants and let’s just say…I’m..looking forward to growing my collection 😅 I’ve absolutely fallen in love.

I would like to bring home an Echeveria affinis “Black Knight” but I’m concerned I won’t be able to help it thrive indoors.

I’m a total beginner to all of this, if it sounds terrible and crazy please forgive and educate me, if not please let me know what your opinions are on the idea!

I’m looking at alternative lighting options I fear my south facing window won’t get enough sun, especially when the leaves grow on the trees again and block out a lot of sun in warmer months.

Could I get away with this lighting setup?! I would keep it about a foot above the plant for 12-14 hours a day. I would water it essentially when the plant starts begging for water.

Thank you all in advance!
