Peace lily is a dramatic hoe lol dont let her stress you out too much 🤣
I will also add, people say snake plants do fine in low light, and they can live in it, but they thrive in bright light too. I have 3 that live outside because they have become BEASTS and I have admittedly neglected then a tad lol its been summer in arizona.
The hanging plant doesnt live out there, it was just drip drying outside.

My mom’s peace lily is very dramatic and lives in a self watering pot, where she gets 1 cup in the bottom weekly and has her own grow lights for 12 hours plus being in front of the window and thats the ONLY thing that makes her happy. They need far more water and light than people often realize to be happy.
Good luck with the Alocasia. I have one and its the hardest for me to keep alive inside. Mine wants to be in the sun and tons of humidity. They are not easy to care for. Read up on them. The pothos is easy, and you can always propagate if you have issues. There’s really no such thing as low light plants though. Snake plants might survive in it but they don’t thrive. Good luck and happy planting 🪴
so prettyyyy 😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰
Snakeplant looks soo pretty😍
Also a new plant mommy here –
I took care of a peace lily for someone for a few weeks and I’m NEVER EVER getting one for myself. She gave me multiple heart attacks during that time hahaha.
Beautiful collection!
Careful with that, stupid calathea the and Amazonia
Be very careful with that Calathea in that non-drainage pot. They are extremely prone to root rot.
They really like having been adopted by you!
Nice collection! I got houseplant fever in May. I have about 90 plants now, and a couple dozen propagating from cuttings. I’ve found myself drawn to certain plants, and I’ve started collecting them: monsteras, pothos, scindapsus, aglaonema, hoyas, fittonias, philodendrons, tradescantia, carnivores, crassulas… it’s definitely addictive, and so rewarding!
Be careful!!!! Thats a dangerous addiction!!!! Lol I lost count at 86 house plants! (This was years ago. I no longer have all of those) They are beautiful and comfortable in the home.
Careful bringing home plants! They might have residents you dont want to be bringing in your home. Inspect them clearlyN
Wow, you have started strong!!! In 2 days😉
You ARE addicted! Isn’t it wonderful!!
Good luck with the calathea and alocasia the rest of them are easy plants. And it’s not that calatheas and alocasias are all that hard, but that are finicky and need the right humidity to thrive. I have my calatheas in a west facing window in my bathroom. And I stopped messing with alocasias a while back. Welcome to the beautiful world of plants!
