I noticed one of my Jean's Passion blooms' pistils is looking awfully plump. I haven't made any attempts to breed my violets yet, but we have a number of bug visitors in the house from time to time, especially wasps. Does it look like it could become a seed pod? Has anyone else had violets become pollinated without their help? Or am I just seeing things?

Yes that’s a seed pod. If you’ve had benign pollinators around the house it’s not unusual. You need to leave that flower on until it completely dried out to get useful seeds. Mazel tov!
