When I first planted Gotu Kola, or as we call it in my country. Pegagan, I never imagined how much peace it would bring into my daily life.
It started with a few small leaves in a recycled pot near my window. They didn’t look special at first. But day by day, they grew, quietly, gracefully, reminding me that true healing also takes time.
Gotu Kola is known around the world as the “herb of longevity.” It’s said to help with focus, calm the mind, and support skin healing. But for me, it became more than that, it became a little daily ritual.
Each morning, I touch the leaves, feel their soft round shape, and brew a few in warm water. The earthy aroma connects me to nature, a reminder that healing can come from the simplest things around us.
Now, my little herbal corner keeps expanding, from Gotu Kola to lemongrass, mint, and turmeric.
This small garden has become my sanctuary, my reminder that everything grows with patience, including you.
Would you try growing your own herbal corner too?
