Don’t throw those chrysanthemums away!
Hey y’all. Remember last year how I told you not to throw away your cryanthemums? Well, let me show you how mine look this year. They’re absolutely beautiful. One of the things I love to do is to save money on gardening. And I love doing that by saving my flowers from year to year. So, these are my beautiful crosanthemums that I had last year in my little pots on the porch. And they were just little bitty plugs, but look how beautiful they are now. So, I got a pack of nine from Lowe’s and they were $10 for the pack and I got to enjoy them last year. Then I potted them up into these containers. So, there’s three in each one and you can see all of the beautiful colors in here. Absolutely gorgeous. I know a lot of people use mums as annuals, but you can definitely save them and you can also add them into your landscape. And let me show you the ones I’ve added into my landscape. So, some of these are not in full bloom all the way, but I got these chrysanthemums from the Lowe’s garbage dumpster last year and they were just throwing them away. I took them out of their containers and then I added them into my landscape. And look how beautiful they look this fall. Okay, guys. So, if you’re like me and you like to save money on your gardening, then definitely don’t throw your crosanthemums away. They are so easy to keep. They’re virtually bug resistant. Nothing has bothered them. All I’ve had to do is do a little trimming and keep them watered. I kept them on my porch and now they have all of these beautiful. I hope this gave you some inspiration for your crosanthemums. Put them in a pot or put them in the ground and then you can enjoy them for next year.
