First time taking care of African violet, had it for a year and a half now. When about to do maintenance on it, I noticed leaves growing in the middle of my bloom. I’ve never seen this before since growing the plant, and just wanted some feedback on if this is normal or if there is something I need to do?

It’s the crown. Here’s one of mine right now. You can see that the blooms are coming from outside the crown. Your plant looks great!
I’m not an expert but was taken by how beautiful the colour of the flowers are, I love that deep purple, good luck finding an answer! Keen to learn myself.
