Grown from a seed of a store bought Butternut Squash, I’ve noticed these fruits look pretty different to other images Ive seen, possibly cross pollination? I hope I didn’t get zucchinied

    Those are zucchini.

Butternut squash look like butternut squash when they’re small, too. Just a pale green.

If it’s not a zucchini, it might be a courgette!

    😉

Are you thinking this is something other than zucchini?

There is no way that grew from a butternut squash seed. Butternut squash is curcurbita moochata. Zucchini, which you have there, is curcurbita pepo. The 2 can not cross. So you could not get a zucchini from anything out of butternut. Just not possible

Sorry friend, but you indeed got zuked.

  7. Is this a troll post? You clearly already harvest some as I can see cut marks from stem and must know this is zucchini!

    Cant be serious.
