I think they would be fine. Mine survive freezing temps during winter, but I wouldn’t expose them to way below freezing

  2. I live in Colorado. I’ve left my children out there at like 32 degrees and they got minor frost burn. Can’t even tell where the dmg is now. I wouldn’t worry until it’s below freezing.

  3. They are fine.

36/37 degrees for most of the night is where I start to get worried and bring them in

I pull mine when it’s consistently below freezing or any that start showing spots. So far that’s only two plants

  5. I would worry if it could down to 32 or below then maybe put like blankets over them or something. They should be fine though might’ve been out in freezing temperatures.

  6. The only thing I would do is line them up closer to the house so the heat from the brick radiate towards the cactus.

I brought mine in when we had a forecasted low of 25. I actually thing it’s good for them to get a light frost or two under their belt if you’re going to keep them dormant. If you’re transitioning to an indoor tent, then I’d bring them in so they don’t grow dormant.

That’s ok if you’re getting a wind chill effect though you can put styrofoam cups over the tips

They’re fine for cold temperatures, when they’re dry. I think you would benefit from a simple tarp from the brick wall to help keep them a few degrees warmer. At least until they dry out.

    Should be okay.
I think 48 hrs straight less than 30 degrees will kill em.

I just brought mine inside and said screw it

They will be fine if they are dry. If you JUST watered them, bring them in to be safe

They’re native habitat is 6,000 to 9,000 feet above sea level in the Andes mountains. If you google weather in that region you will be able to know they’re extremes in temp.

35 for green house time 32 for indoors if you don’t have a space heater

We’ve had light frosts on ours with no issues but anything freezing or below is where I would get nervous

I agree they should be fine but if you plan on bringing them in eventually might as well get a jump on it

I’ve had mine outside in New Jersey down to mid 30s with rain and all. They just came in a few days ago

Yes, I didn’t bring mine in one night in the 40s and lost all of them.

I’m in northern Arizona and transplanted 10 I brought from Cali when I moved. I’m not planning on bringing any inside for the winter. Hmmm, am I gonna have issues? Got frost / below freezing in ca, elevation was around 1400ft. New spot is 4200 tho samish temps expected, maybe a lil cooler for longer?
