Recently acquired this huge fiddle leaf and would love some advice.

She is very tall but LEGGY – so top heavy that she is leaning over.

My plan is to repot her in better draining soil and in a pot with drainage (she’s in a planter right now).

I would also like to chop the top off and propagate. Has anyone had experience propagating fiddles with such woody stems?

I fear her stems are too woody to water propagate – has anyone propagated them in soil?

Need help! Send me general advice. Thank you!

Definitely need to chop to get it growing properly, it’ll only get worse even if conditions improve. You can water propagate just fine.
