How to get Severed Spine in Grow a Garden
As it stands, there is only one way in which you can get the Severed Spine seed, and that’s from the Harvest Reaper event.
To do this, you’ll specifically want to be around in-game when the Harvest Reaper appears – which seems to be every four hours – and then donate the required crops to receive various rewards. Should you be lucky, you’ll net yourself a Severed Spine, though it’s worth noting that these are limited to a stock of 25,000 each time it rolls around, so you’ll essentially have to compete with other players when attempting to get this crop.
To help, you might want to try and set your gardem to grow various crops so that you have several ready to go for when the Reaper shows up.

For anyone hoping to steal it from a neighbour with either the Red Fox or Raccoon, it’s worth keeping in mind that this seed looks to punish stealers. Whilst it’s yet to be confirmed, this might mean it’s a seed which cannot be stolen.
In that way, it’s quite a unique seed and one that might be worth keeping around. Not just that, but with a high base value and one you can harvest multiple times, should you get it with some mutations as well, you’ll be looking at a pretty solid return!
