Let me start out by saying I am very greatful to have this problem. I just don't think that I will be able to follow this all the way through. This is only the 5th day of flower. I had to let them sit in veg longer than I would have liked ((9 weeks) but I couldn't get the nutrients I needed for flower (Heavy 16) and I only have about 7 feet of clearance due to a shelf. This is my first time doing an eb/flow system I had no fuckin idea shit was gunna pop off like this. I am looking for some advice on how to make it work with out chopping half of her(s) down.

Take some big ass clones and flower her out.

Nets, like 3 of them. You’ll be alright, do some super cropping, fill each square and keep tucking tops under. Drop the light down to 18” if it’s not already and you’ll be able to keep them mostly managed

You can trim a lot of the lower leaves and train them inside of a trellis net . It will force the effort onto the spots you want to flower and make bigger buds. Looking great

Oh yeah, time to pull out the buttermilk ranch I’ve been saving…

Give her a hair cut! Get a little light penetration going on! LOOKING GOOD.

Low stress training and super cropping (bending and snapping the stem in specific spots but only when the stem can be supported) are the usual way to go. I also sometimes will cut all the big leaves towards the top so the lower growth gets more light and speeds up their growth while slowing the growth of the top ones

This is the opposite of fucking up, you got this!

Use a trellis net to manage the stretch

I’m literally brand new. But. What if you did kind of a hst with bonsai wire. To make them twist down lower so the overall height would be lower and you could direct each shoot easily for trellis. You would have to mind trunk binding due to the nature of the speed of growth. Could come out with some crazy looking branches though. This is just a thought I have no idea if its been done before lol

Honestly bro start clearing up that shelf for some clones and a new light😂😂😂

Without seeing the whole plant structure it’s hard to say, but if you’re only on day 5 of flower you still have time to top hard and defol. They’re gonna stretch a bunch.

can move the res out from underneath to give it more height?

Scrog those girls, but get on it sooner than later. Don’t be afraid to lay them out super flat, they’ll rebound in no time.

If you have 7 ft of clearance….you’re fine. No meed to trellis or cut unless you want to keep clones.

Let her finish her transition to flowering and then do a heavy defoliating. If she stretches hard, supercrop those tall branches. She looks healthy and happy. I think you should be alright.

Got a friend who could use some plants?

    Lower the light distance.
    Remove some fan leaves.
Pinch the tall stems until you feel a light crunch.
    Allow longerr Dryback.
Have day temperature lower than night, or equal temperature during day AND night. Or, drop the temperature 1hr before lights on AND 2hrs when lights are on.

    This will reduce stretch significantly.

just prune all the lowers, she’ll be fine! looks good!!

Cut and wait 4 days to flip, would be the best option. But if you dont want to do that. Then trellis and lots of deep red when you flip and keepnit during flower. You’ll have to contantly keep tucking for first 2-4 weeks. But even if you cut, you’ll probably want to trellace and or tie them down.

I thought the first photo was ai lol. Just needs a cut though?

  21. I’d say it totally depends on your strain and how much space you have left for it to grow out upwards. (Can’t see that on the pictures) So maybe give us a strain name and the breeder and we can find out some more.
If it is a very stretchy strain, just let it grow for a while and then put in a net. You can then bend the stretched out branches so they “lay” under the net horizontally. It might take them a few days, but the top parts of all those branches will start bending upward and growing towards the light. If the branches are tied down correctly, a lot of future buds will be growing out of their sides as well. The little future buds growing out of those branches would have a lot of direct light shining onto them, which causes them to rise upwards as well. This way you could be able to create a field nearly made out of buds only.

If it is a rather indicaishly growing strain and you’ve got some space upwards left for stretch, you might be OK just letting it grow and only bend down the top branches if they get too close to the light.

Take them huge fan leaves off, you’ll be fine.

  23. On flower day 14 remove the bottom third picking the best for clones, then thin the canopy by picking the strongest stems and flower them out
