I planted the seeds on 19th September.
They are indoors next to the door to the garden, partial sunshine
I have been misting them with water every other day.
Is it weird that they are growing to the side?
I am a novice at this.
Many thanks.

It’s a spring plant, I’m assuming it needs a cold snap to form properly.
They’re leaning towards the light and stretching themselves out to reach it. They need to be in a much lighter position.
Usually lean towards light. Might need turning .
they need more light, it looks like
They should have been scattered and planted outside. It would have restricted their legginess. They cope over winter. I have pots of them that self-seed .
They are literally stretching and bending to get their leaves closer to the sun, so that they can use its energy to survive. One of the reasons we sow seeds in the spring is because the days are getting longer and they need the light. The days may be too short already for these seedlings. Get them into as light a position as you can, and cross your fingers.
Several things I believe. You are planting at the wrong time of year, you are using the wrong pots and you are not providing enough light. I’m afraid you should just bin them and try again next year.
They don’t need any warmth. Just put them in the garden.
You don’t need to propagate forget-me-nots indoors; if you thinly sow (chuck!) a packet of seeds on some soil in your garden, you’ll have forget-me-nots for evermore. They self-seed and will grow almost anywhere.
Looks like they’re growing towards the light source. Either put them closer or turn them so they straighten up. All plants do it and I turn mine occasionally.
Not enough light. Move them closer to a south facing window. These are very easy to grow. I’ve had them in my yard, they grew like weeds and were self-seeding. Early spring is a better time to sow seeds since now the days are getting shorter until late December.
Turn them around, they’re stretching to the light. Also they need more light.
They’re stretching to the sunlight because they aren’t getting enough light in their current position. Put them outside.
its not the right time of year to plant them so they might not make it wherever you put them. look towards buying some more in the spring and throw them on a bed
What you have there is a demonstration of etiolation and phototropism as a result of insufficient light (indoors) and unidirectional light from a window (rotating them daily can avoid excessive leaning). These should have been scattered outside.
You can put them outside, but they’re weak and straggly, and will be tender from the indoor environment and it’s now dropping colder outside.
Looks like they are light seeking.
Put them outside, rotated so they point north and they will straighten up, correct themselves.
Get a small LED grow light for them. Repot when they get their “true leaves.” Pamper them. Some of them may be sturdy enough to transplant in the spring.
