


I sowed a lot of seeds from what I am 95% sure is Chamaecyparis lawsoniana a few years back. They all looked alike except this one. It grows much slower and doesn't form the flat ’fronds’ that's present on the parent trees or the other ones I grew.
Have any of you seen something similiar to this? I have a variety called 'Wisselii', but it has a clearer structure to the branches and grows faster. Do you think it could be a new variety?
My plans are to let it grow another 2 years and then try to propagate by cutting to see if it roots well and keeps its growth habit.
The label in the first photo is the name I gave it for my reference.
