I can see the vision but I feel like with it being near a highway, the bugs will get killed trying to get past these cars.

Idk, while I get it… my first thought is, how many of those pollinators would just end up being a killed by a windshield. Plus all the exhaust and pollution that would cover those plants, I can’t imagine it would be great for pollinators either.

Sounds very much like the high line. This will happen overtime without your interference. Just clear of invasives once the soil is down

There was a bee 🐝 study in the UK that found exposure to diesel fumes not good for them.

i’m in boston too… not sure whereabouts in the area but if you wanna collaborate on some guerilla gardening or maybe convincing municipalities to let us do restoration Hmu 🙂

Better yet, dig up the 100 acres of under-used parking lots in Boston and turn them into forests and meadows.
