Same seed pack, different phenos. Love the look of the first one the most. That color is just… fantastic.

Both cacs were rescued from a friend, they were very sun-baked. Had these in pure shade for 6 months, moved to partial shade for two, now they're under the plant tree, ready to start their journey to flowering. Would like to cross these with a very blue Bridgesii I have here.

    How much shade is shade? I’m debating on putting some of my blues on the north side of my house, but I’m afraid it won’t be enough light

    Wow I never saw such a difference, it’s almost like different genes got activated in the shade, new colors and new spines !! Mind-blowing how the sun stress makes them so much more angry and protective of their juices.
