I got my very first African Violet a few days ago, and have been reading up a bit on how to take care of them! So far, I don't think I'm doing too badly, however the middle leave has some strange coloration to it, almost like part of it is see through. Is that normal?

That isn’t normal. Did the leaves get wet? Sun can also burn the leaf. Other than that, I don’t know what to say.
