Fiona has been super happy and healthy since day one with a self watering stake & her location by the window. I haven't changed a thing since I got her in January. She's been subject to the different air cycles of the house in changing seasons. I fertilize 1-2 a month, shake her when I remember, and whisper sweet nothings to her regularly.

Last week, I noticed all her leaves became extremely droopy, so I gave her a cup or two of water in addition to her self watering, which seemed to help. Now that she's not drooping, I've noticed her two bottom-most leaves have these black spots. (The white spots were there when I got her, no idea what they are, but they aren't new, so I believe they are not related to this new issue.)

Please help! Is her pot too small? Is the self watering no longer sufficient just due to growth?

  1. What is that white on her leaves? Does she have powdery mildew?

I would ditch the watering setup and just throughly water when the soil dries 3” from the surface
