Last year, this slope in a power line ROW was covered in Lespedeza cuneata (Chinese lespedeza). Smoked it with Escort XP and this year the Anatherum virginicum (broomsedge) is going hog wild. Loads of other natives like Chrysopsis mariana (Maryland golden aster), Trichostema dichotomum (blue curls) and Dichanthelium clandestinum (deer tongue) have filled in the void as well. Can’t wait to see what other surprises are in the seed bank.
