I am tired of deweeding and cleaning the gaps between the stone paving. Is there a cheap way to fill them up – something that’s easy to clean and lasts. Dont want to remove the stones and do a new paving all over.
Do you want plants or to fill them with something else?

Fill them with plants you want so plants you don’t want have no room to take hold

Red or white creeping thyme? I think a low growing plant that you can walk on would be best. Good for pollinators too! If weeds are growing then there might even be enough soil under the stones to plant them straight in. I’d leave the stones there too.

My client has these intentional In the garden design, he uses erigeron, campanula and chucks a few bulbs in there. A pittorsporum tobira nanum would spill over the edges and would be nice scent when you walk past. Ground cover though is your best bet. So many more options pachysandra, persicaria, geranium, soleiria
