Certainly a Rubus species (blackberries, raspberries, et cetera).

    Yup. Eat them!

Fun fact- in north america, it’s safe to taste anything that looks like a blackberry, raspberry, or mulberry.

These are raspberries. You can tell because they look like raspberries.

  4. The good news is there are no toxic varieties of Rubus. There are some varieties that have fine hairs that irritate the mouth and throat, but they are all edible, and most of them are delicious. So have at it!

Here in Wisconsin during the summer we have black raspberries in the yard and the neighborhood has a bevy of dew berries that are like jelly juice poppers we pick on our walks. So yummy!

99% of aggregate berries are safe to eat. The only poisonous ones are not common in the northern USA. Your biggest risk here is biting into an unripe blackberry.

The poisonous 2 are jack in the pulpit and goldenseal.

Just a neat fact about aggregate berries! Pretty safe statistics!

I don’t mean to eat the berries. I just want the leaves for magickal uses. That’s why I needed to know the exact type of plant, so I label them correctly. I’m not supposed to eat fresh fruits or vegetables because I have gastroparesis, so I can’t digest fiber normally.

They look like normal raspberries possibly the heritage variety (the one you normally buy in stores)
