Located on the central California coast. We have these bushes growing in our backyard along our fence with small green “berries.” My toddler picked a bunch and called them “apples,” and now I’m afraid she’s going to eat them when we’re not looking 😖

Asparagus densiflorus
Asparagus fern. They’re also thorny. Those berries will mess your kid up. Remove with leather gloves.
Looks like it could be ornamental asparagus.
Careful it has thorns. Never let those berries ripen. It easily reseeds and grow everywhere.
