Hello! Help needed, please. I've had this fiddle leaf fig since January 2024, and it's in the same pot it came in from the garden store. I'm a total plant newbie (the fiddle leaf was a gift) and I didn't realize how sad my plant looked until I came here and saw how great fiddle leafs can look! So, my questions are:
- What is happening to my fiddle leaf such that the leaves are drooping, covered in white film, partly brown, and look like they've been eaten by something?
- How do I fix all of the above?
Thank you so much.

When you water, do you keep watering till you see water come out of the drainage holes? He looks thirsty.
First, maybe try replanting. Mine loves the tropical soil.
Second, I’ve read other posts suggesting this may be a watering issue. Do you only water when the top 2 inches of soil is dry? Does the pot have good drainage holes?
Third, does it get good indirect sunlight? If not, move it where it can get more bright light.
Might be thirsty but mine gets really mad if humidity isn’t to her liking
If you repot get a terracotta to prevent root rot
