



To start – we don't know anything about figs.
We just followed the instructions, repotted four times, made the soil mix, etc. But now we are in a situation without a clear guide book, and are asking for help from the Fig Expert community.
A bit like a goldfish in a lake, our fig has quadrupled in size in our new place that has big windows and high ceilings.
However, now we are in a Little Shop of Horrors situation, and it's about 10 ft across and 9 ft high. I added some crutches for it, but it's not sustainable.
So beyond making some kind of rigging from the ceiling…what are some recommdations for pruning strategy and placement? Where do we cut and how? I just want it to keep it healthy.
