Hi, I have a AF that have suckers. The plant looks great and has been blooming for a while now. Online it has to remove the suckers. Should I?

It is recommended. You can cut them off and root them and have more plants to enjoy, trade, or gift. Read up on how to reroot a long neck AV, it is basically the same thing as rooting those suckers. Here is a good place to start ==> [https://africanvioletsocietyofamerica.org/learn/violets-101/repotting-a-violet-with-a-neck/](https://africanvioletsocietyofamerica.org/learn/violets-101/repotting-a-violet-with-a-neck/)

Oh, you can also try to root the leaves that you break off for this process, if you like. Then you’ll have lots and lots of babies! Best of Luck.

Suckers scare me to be honest..

I started with 7 leaves I took from plants that were getting thrown out by vendors at my work. They all turned into plants and most of those suckered. I have like 20+ plants and planted suckers. Not including leaves I have in water 😂

    I DON’T HAVE ROOM KIDS!!

Good thing my human kids have moved out because I need their rooms for more plants! 😂

Out of seven leaves I have 5 different varieties so far. Two more haven’t bloomed yet because they suckered too bad. But they are separated and well on their way to bloom I hope!

Sorry for my rambles… as for your situation, any rogue leaves snap off and stick in soil or water. Takes a few weeks in water to see roots. Then gently bury the tip of the stem and dribble water on it every other day ish. Soon you’ll have 20 plants!
