Pumpkins are cheap here in Southern Illinois. I bought 9 fancy pumpkins to stack. They were only 6$ each and they are big. I have never heard of selling them by the pound. Happy Gardening Everyone!πΎπ»πππ» We have a trampoline for our grandkids and have never covered it and it is 13 years old.still going strong.π€·ββοΈ
Definitely I prefer the titles were they explain exactly what you are doing that day. Love the straight forward information. I wouldn't like to read something random. Keep going exactly as you are. They are perfect. Love your videos. ive been watching for year and I don't miss one. You are my favourite channel of all YouTube . Thank Aron and Laura. β€β€
So happy you're going to continue with titling the videos as you always have. It's a joy actually seeing a video that is exactly like the title suggestsβ€
I get perturbed as well, when my title isnt the most popular one, instead, a title that i would never have thought of because it just isnt me π i understand where Aaron is coming from π I get the AI hint that i am not the I in AI π
Next year, I need to put grape trees on my covered front porch, as in Maryland, the spotted lantern bugs were so bad, there were hardly any grapes to harvest as they killed the vines.
Regarding stressed/under-watered plant giving you more fruit, I found that to be true quite accidentally when our drip system malfunctioned and I did not notice that for a whole month during the summer, lol ! My lemon tree never gave me as much fruit as that year ! BTW I would love to purchase that hoodie and some other things on your website but the shipping cost to Europe is ridiculously high, not to mention how much they will charge for customs π How about you open a shop in Europe (for at least some items that don;t requite special licenses or permits, like knee-pads, hoodies, t-shirts, small tools … ? Regarding titles, keep them authentically yours.
About the titles, thank you for not changing π Everytime I need garden help or advice, I do a search on Garden Answers channel for that particular issue. It can be challenging to wade thru everything, but often I can find what I need. π₯°
My bedtime here in Australia, but I watch this when it comes out on a Sunday night, in bed, before I wake up for another week at work. Appreciate you Laura and Aaron. πͺ΄
Love all your videos. Even if I live in a townhouse, I enjoy your plant advice and experiences. I have grown ππ(small variety) in pots with satisfying success. I did tame the length of the runners. But happy with a few, townhome-grown pumpkins!
Awesome pumpkin harvest! Thought for next year. Ask a few friends with kids to come for a pumpkin picking day to help….make a party out of it, have a picnic and then let them take a dozen home. You had over 600. If you had 3 families over it would amount to giving away 36 or so pumkins out of 600+. It would be great cheap labor and a fun day with friends.
I grew up having a trampoline. We never covered it up. We played on it all year long. I remember my parents buying it from a store called Levines. It was rectangular and made from heavy steel. No padding, safety net or any other sissy safety stuff. (This was in the late 60βs, early 70βs) The mat was double thickness. Over the years, we had the mat resown, replaced springs, and spray painted parts that had started to rust. We finally sold it in the mid 2000βs. My parents saw us play on it and their grandchildren play on it. I can imagine that it may still be bringing joy to children somewhere.
Strawberries can be prone to botrytis (grey mould); you have to be vigilant and very careful cleaning up any dead leaves and affected fruit to avoid spreading the spores. Spray with fungicide or make up your own organic spray by adding 1tsp bicarbonate soda into a litre of water with a few drops of liquid soap. A thick mulch of dry straw to prevent the fruit touching the earth can help too

Maybe you could plant the ghost honeysuckle. They are beautiful. I love the recaps because the two of you have great conversations.

19:00 – probably treat the trampoline like a pool and cover it with something designed for it.
Squash borer insects are different than squash bugs. Both are difficult to suppress.
