I put together this “terrarium” three years ago and never opened the lid once. I’ve forgotten the name of the plant inside. Anyway, it sits on my front windowsill and gets tons of afternoon and evening sun (front window faces west). A lot of it is thriving but the side facing inside is dead. If I were to rotate this around so the dead side faces the sun, will it revitalize it or in doing so will it kill the green that’s still alive?

I use terrarium in quotations as I feel like it’s a deviation of the common stuff I see in this sub.

Why just a ball of green?!?! Trim that thing up.

You could get the dead stuff out, then start rotating it 1/4 of the way around every week so all sides get light. If you just flip it the green side will become the dead side.
