Wanted to build a treehouse platform in the middle of these redwoods in my backyard for my kids. After doing some initial research I’ve learned that redwoods aren’t the most ideal since they are typically softer wood and the bark is necessary for the trees health. However given the close proximity of these trees, I figured I could make it work the correct hardware and support. Wanted to get an arborists take on the situation. Thanks

Do a woven tree net. There are a few companies I’ve seen on IG that make these amazing multi level tree nets that won’t damage the trees and look amazing.
Build a tree house. Be way cooler than a woven net and plenty of ways to do it without doing great harm to the tree.
