I’m located in Rochester, NY. I wanted to know this sub’s thoughts as far as the soil quality. Does this look good to start planting some fall native plants? Should I do another application of mulch or is it good to start planting as is? TYIA.

    I honestly plant almost immediately. I have never had anything die. I’ve waited a year, two years, and two months. It all works.

    Yes to planting. It’s going to be snowy soon so best to get ahead of that.

    Pic 3 looks like Bermuda grass in the middle. Be aggressive about pulling it up when you see it. It’s aggressive stuff and you want to keep it stressed out.
