Surprised and gratified to see the Hepaticas emerging again at the start of fall. The red berries are from a Jack-in-the-Pulpit going to seed…
These are just nice plants to watch for in deep shade in the spring. I was just out weeding and did not expect these guys to show themselves at this time of year. Michigan, Zone 6a
