As the end of summer is here, my fly trap is started to go into dormancy with a number of blackened and dead and dying leaves. Do you all stip them off or just let it go and clean it all up in the spring time? What are your thoughts?

I wait until near end of dormancy to trim, separate any divisions and trim
I only trim dead leaves 1 time per year and that’s when dormancy ends. I just burn them away with a torch. Takes 30 seconds
I wait till there are a lot of black leaves and then pull them slightly to detach them.
