Has anyone used this metal/glass cabinet and converted it to an indoor greenhouse? I know there’s a very similar cabinet from ikea and a separate ikea greenhouse group for that but I would like to know if anyone has used this specific cabinet from amazon. It’s $130 cheaper than the ikea one, very similar dimensions, and I still need to purchase conversion materials so the $130 I would save could go to the supplies for that (fans, possibly acrylic shelves, brackets, humidifier) . There’s options for with a light and without a light. Debating on which one to get. I already have grow lights (barrina) to put in it so I don’t need the lights it comes with, but I’m thinking if I purchase the one with the lights, it will already have the hole in the back for the plug. With lights/without lights is a $30 difference. It is going in a room with very little natural light (1 window that faces west but there is a block wall/patio cover that blocks the majority of sunlight). All of my plants are currently in windows that receive a good amount of natural light. Anyone else have a cabinet in a dark area of their house with just grow lights? Do your plants do ok in this setting?
