all the big grasses are in bloom right now. I love the lighting here

Very pretty. Hate to spoil it but may wanna read a little about miscanthus
Arnoglossum
Barf. Invasive as fuck and a huge fire hazard since it aggressively reseeds to create extensive monocultures. Can’t believe nurseries are still selling this plant. It is showy though, which is the primary issue with most invasive species.

Unfortunately this is an invasive species. It’s still an early emerging invasive where I live in the northeast. Not sure about Georgia.
There are many gorgeous clump forming native grasses similar to Miscanthus: switchgrass/panicum, Indian grass/sorghastrum, big bluestem/Andropogon. Sorghastrum and Andropogon gerardii can handle a little bit of shade like open oak woods. Check out bush beard or bushy bluestem—Andropogon glomeratus. It’s my favorite bluestem but it doesn’t reach that far north.

It’s invasive in the US. Please remove it. Big Bluestem is a great alternative.
