Do not sniff. If it’s an angels trumpet, it’s called that for a reason. It sends you to god.

Just gotta say, people over here are really overplaying the toxicity part. It is not gonna kill you, unless you eat a whole fucking bush. I come from a country where you can find these everywhere, on people’s gardens for decoration, planted in the streets, etc. Sometimes poeple even have these flowers for tea if they’re feeling adventurous. I don’t believe we have even one single death recorded due to its consumption.

You will get high as fuck, probably shit your pants, have the time of your life, scare yourself a little, then go on with your life.

Just for the poeple that keep fear-mongering the consumption of this plant:

“Fatalities have been reported at an atropine dose of 10 mg. As such, ingestion with as few as 10 flowers can be not only toxic but also fatal.”

These flowers are HUGHE. You would neet to eat a fucking bowl of antel’s trumpet salad to die.
Take one, make tea, enjoy the weird experience. You won’t die.

It looks like Datura to me. Trust me, whatever happens, don’t eat it. If you eat even a few seeds, you’ll be transported to an evil land of mushrooms and malicious gnomes, talking dogs and flying pigs, or worse… that’s how desperate drug addicts in my area sometimes fall for these gifts of nature.

By the way Brugmansias adapt well to pot culture so that is an option for colder climates with subfreezing winters like mine. You must be willing to haul the pot inside for the winter of course and they won’t grow as huge but will still bloom readily in a pot. This one grew to this size for me from a mere 6 inch water rooted cutting and bloomed in the course of just the current season!
