Just barely bury the tip of the stem under a little bit of soil. I have just used miracle grow indoor plant mix with nothing else and every plant I’ve had has turned out fine. You just have to be careful to not overwater.
To water, I would just do a teeny dribble of water on the top couple times a week maybe once a week depending on how quickly it dries out. As the leaves grow they are easier to avoid. I have a squeeze bottle with a fine tip like for cleaning wounds in a dr office. Best $10 on amazon I ever spent.
A lot of people might tell you to put it in a Ziploc bag to preserve the humidity, but it really depends on your current environment. I’ve never used Ziploc bags or domes, and I live in Oregon.
The more the plant grows you might see the mama leaf start to dry up. This is totally ok. It’s also ok if it doesn’t. It’s just there to help the baby. I’ve had one dry up before my baby plant even got the 3rd set of leaves and I’ve had the mama leaf hang on till the main plant was nearly blooming on its own.
I’ve had one leaf turn into one plant which was rare for my collection lol. Pretty much all my leaf props have ended up being multiple plants. But that’s a whole other post, ‘how to remove suckers’ lol.
It’s not complicated. I wish you luck!

Unfortunately I don’t have more insight than the amazing commenter who already gave you info, but I do need to ask where that little prop glass is from. It’s so cute!
