This is a seed grown Nepenthes robcantleyi that I’ve had in my collection for about 4 years now. I’ve posted it from time to time but it seems to be plateauing in terms of size now and has remained consistently gigantic over the last few leaves.
the pitchers are huge and highly flared, the peristomes don’t seem to pull back much anymore and deeply colored with time. There is also some striping on the newly opened pitchers but this gets hard to discern as they darken over time.
It hasn’t flowered yet, but I’m eager to see it when it does. I’m anticipating maybe sometime next year or the year after that.
Thanks for looking!
Wildnepenthes
The wood behind it gives the impression this plant are massive !!
