Those pictures are 4 days old, very few trichomes are brown atm.
Also, my PH keeps drifting lower to 5.5.
It locked in at 5.75 during flower and was kept there itself. Now it is always sinking until i out in a bit PH+ (Terra Aquatica Liquid).
7 Days ago i lowered the EC from 1600us to 1300us (650ppm).
This is a (R)DWC system with 2 plants, using Canna Aqua, Calmag and Epsom.
Is the PH okay? Should i mix a new solution to get rid of any nutrient imbalances that may cause the PH drop? Should i lower the ec further to flush a few days? (or is it bro science? Thinking of it on my own, some things do make sense to me, others dont. Dont know what to do)
Temp is at 24°C with 45-50RH%
This is also my first grow.

It is about there any day now.. You could harvest it now it will be just fine or wait a few more days. Keep checking trichs… beautiful plant my guy 🔥🫡👍
I would take them of now I’m more of a milky cloudy trichomes then amber one but that’s up to you
Oh wow, nice photos! Well done on a successful grow. If it were me I would turn the lights off for 24 hours and get the temps down around 19 Celsius(66F) or lower. I did it last grow and the trichome ripening was next level. You should seriously try it and watch everything change.

When waiting for your girls to ripen, there are several considerations to make.
The pistils (hairs) will darken, shrivel, and retract into the bracts. An abundance of white pistils means that she’s not ready.
If you’re growing in a medium in which you can tell how much water she’s using, she’ll drink much less when ripe. I grow in DWC presently and at peak they’ll go through more than a gallon daily! It will reduce by about half when ripe.
When these parameters are met, then it’s time to break out the loupe or microscope and check out the trichomes.
THE TRICHOMES ON THE SUGAR LEAVES WILL TURN BEFORE THOSE ON THE ACTUAL BUD. LOOK AT THE BUD!
You want a very large majority of the trichomes to be milky and, with most strains, a few to be amber. The actual amount of darkened trichomes are up to you as the grower. A general rule of thumb is the more amber, the more couch lock!
Something to remember is that trichomes can bruise and darken when handled. You know the way we caress the buds for the fragrance?
When growing autos, a factor in knowing when to harvest is the projected growing time from the breeder. Also, some strains of autos will become overripe before the trichomes can darken. Just be aware.

when to pick.
They say if 20% of the trichomes are amber, that’s peak and time to pick.

I don’t think you could go wrong either way, buddy. I’ve cut them down at this point before I was perfectly happy with the result.

I always want to see more detailed photos of the triches. Who’s with me on that? Everyone seems to always take photos of the entire bud. I own an old iPhone 12 Pro Max, even if I take full bud photos, all of these types of photos can be blown up and enhanced in the editing features giving better detail. All I can say from the provided photos is that pistol browning looks good. That is the 1st indication for me that you may have 3 weeks max before harvest. I believe that I can see a lot of clear triches. For me, that’s too early. They need to be cloudy or I’ll be checking every 3 days until they are. Once I can clearly see some amber, then it’s all up to preference for the type of high that I prefer.
But my short answer is 3 weeks at the outside. 👍🏽🤞🏽✌🏽🕉️☯️☮️

Good answer.✌🏽My personal preference is 10 to 15%. But when I’m still seeing clear triches, THC and resin production has not fully produced yet, and that also means reduced bud weight as well.
I like a more narcotic, sedated effect for sleep so for me I’d take it out another 7-10 days. Looks great!
