Ive been keeping my mantis nymph in this terrarium for a few weeks and the plants have not been doing well at all no matter what I do and I just saw this randomly appear on the soil and I think its mold. I read on how this happens and im a little confused on how it did bc this enclosure has a mesh like top to allow ventilation and ive been convinced there is not enough moisture bc the schefflera and pothos are drying up. Also idrk what to do woth my mantis bc i feel like he wont like a moldy habitat. Any help with cleaning the mold, keeping the plants alive or what to do woth my mantis would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if it is mold…but it’s easy to avoid
Add springtails and maybe turn the humidity down just a tad and make sure there is enough ventilation 🙂
