Year 2 for these guys- one in the back is a spit from the larger one.

We are on season 3 of converting our back yard dirt pit to a pollinator garden. Lots of happy bugs ✨

Absolutely beautiful! I have been noticing this plant when I’m out and about and will be looking for it. I’m wondering if the foliage is big in the spring and summer? Trying to determine best spot for it to compliment my garden.

We passed a small aster bush maybe about 1/4 the size of this one at the zoo today and I absolutely could not believe the number of bees and bugs in it! It was incredible. Made me want to add it to my garden next year!

My asters look great but nowhere near this dense!

As floriferous as the Asters are I prefer the other purple flowering plants.

They look amazing! Asters are just pollinator magnets. I swear, as soon as mine started blooming, my garden turned into a bee party. Keep up the great work!

I’m showing this to my asters. They’re gonna need to step it up!

Asters are the heros of the early Fall garden. I have Wood’s Blue and it is like a carpet of bees this time of year. It’s amazing! It’s also a bit of a thug plant. It spreads easily and sometimes needs to be dug up to contain it. I highly recommend it especially if you have a large space to let it grow and grow.
