What do you mean? Do you have a pest infestation or something?

Hmm, not sure what you mean by “messed up.” Could you be more specific? I mean, I see a few items in the room interspersed among the plants, that could be the source of this mess you are referring to…otherwise I’d say the room is perfect!

I’m sorry, was there another picture showing the problem? Is the problem in the picture? Is this a “where’s Waldo” thing?

I don’t see the problem? Looks absolutely fab!!!

Do you have a spouse/partner? If so, you definitely did.

I see nothing wrong. May I suggest a possible way to add more plants but save floor space? It is great for vine plants or low growers. For these, I’ve found that I can tilt the plant so you can see the top. The plant will grow according to gravity, so you may want to spin the planter.
Approximately 10″ down from your ceiling, put up either a shelf or a gutter running the length of your wall. 10″ provides enough height for up to an 8″ potted plant. Vined plants look lovely hanging down from it. Pothos, Donkey Tail Succulent, Ivy, etc. I’ve placed 4″ pots of air fern in spots where its empty. My largest vine is a Variegated Pothos with 1 vine at 8′ long and another at 6½’. I’ve used pieces of galvanized wire shaped into hooks to hook them to the gutter. I moved the Pothos to the very end. When I hooked it up, it ran the length of the gutter with 2″ falling over the end to start growing down. I was told that the vines are taking all of the plant’s energy, which is why it doesn’t have any new growth in the pot, but I don’t have the heart to cut the vine.
The gutter, end caps, and downspout are all vinyl and were painted to match the wall, we went one step further. When my husband cut the gutter, he cut it so that one end had the downspout hole. He put a piece of downspout down the length of the wall. A chair & side table hide a little bucket. It’s there because as you know, water will either run through the plant or drain excess water over time, if they do, it will run down to the bucket and not onto the hardwood floor. I wish I had a photo of it, but we are not home at the moment.
Just think if you had something like that in your plant room it would look even more awesome!

I agree. You have all this space left at the front edge of the desk and I just don’t understand how you could not house more plants there. Outrageous!

Most definitely. I still see some open space on the floor!

Messed up how? Buying way to many plants? I’ve got the same problem in late fall, winter, and early spring.
