Growing up my mom loved violets. She couldn’t leave a hardware store without picking a new one up. But she is also a violet murderer- repeat offender I’m afraid 😮💨. She is also resistant to learning proper care 😵💫…so I recently repotted all her half dead AV’s when I had managed not to kill my first few plants this year. Some had tags, some are now forever noids. BUT some are actually blooming. I thought this dark lil guy was just so sparkly and cute, I just had to share! 💜 African violets really are amazingly resilient plants!

Good job on the rescue. Guess you mom is an example of the old saying, “You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.” Not that I’m calling your mom a dog, or old! Nice nails too!
