These were planted 2 years ago, and I think maybe they arent getting enough sun because the trees that are looking sick are near other trees or in their shade part of the day. The backs of these trees get full sun and even the backs of a section of them look sick.

Is there anything I can do to save them at this point? Its like 12-14 trees that are not looking so hot rn.

  1. Are you sure it isn’t normal shedding? It’s fall.

I should add they are in asheville nc, so not seriously cold or anything yet.

The center of half of them are very brown and yellow, much more so than the other half. I know the centers are always shedding but this just looks more like its spreading to the outside or more severe than previous years.

The trees look fine to me… except you put them under powerlines.

Looks like it could be a salinity issue in your soil. If I were you, I’d give them some good drenches before winter. Its always a good idea to do this for all your evergreens before winter to help them out through the sad times.

I have nothing to add, but to ask what the heck is on your dogs front legs
