wow, you are blessed! they simply don’t exist anymore where i live. i remember turtles where a thing some 40 years back.

Are mayapples (*[Podophyllum peltatum](https://www.wildflower.org/plants/result.php?id_plant=pope)*) native to you? I’ve seen a few turtles around but don’t have the moisture conditions for them or I’d plant them for sure
