Have been working on this the past few years. Lots of native perennials and maybe too many trees.
The grass is tahoma 31 which takes very little water and is probably 30% clover at this point.
The yard feels very messy to me.. any ideas to help make it feel as “clean” as a yard with grass

Im honestly jealous. No notes. Looks very clean to me and I might save this for some ideas.
Great start!
I know it kinda goes against the sub we’re in, but I think it’s ok to have *some* lawn. If you have kids, pets, and/or frequent guests I don’t see the issue with having a set-up like yours. Seems like a perfect balance & use of space along with providing ecological benefits.
Very pretty.
Consider removing more lawn by moving the border to this side of the tree. Then edge all of it with blocks. No tree ring, the utility tower will have an additional layer of vegetation to hide it and the solid level ring of blocks will calm the uneven layers of plants down to some degree.
In my former English garden a perfect circle of a lawn kept the look cleaner so consider that as well. Lawn went from half a dogbone to half a lozenge to the circle with the corners of bed getting deeper each time. Gardens are usually not permanently arranged, keep playing with shapes and plantings.
Nothing wrong with grass my dude. At least it looks healthy and like it has good roots, and doesn’t look like it’s been fucked with chemicals and a pair of scissors, as well as the clover looking good!
A little bit of lawn, kept very neatly mowed and edged would make a big difference. So would dark mulch kept raked out. Basically, neat edges go a long way.
Only comment I’ll add is that your spruce and pines behind the far patio area are way to close together and likely too close to the fence. The blue spruce alone will be 60 feet tall and 20 feet wide. The pines will also get big but will likely lose to the spruce.
