Good article. I get a few looks for the section of my backyard I let grow wild. Since we don’t have a HOA I am probably going to keep the front and sides mowed and let most of the backyard just grow. My pollinator garden out back and the section not mowed are my stress relief. I like seeing bees, butterflies, and bugs.

The way I get around letting things grow wild is to put a border around big chunks of lawn gone wild. That way it looks like a flower bed. My favorite is the way tall grasses move in the breeze..
