They look so upright! Do they ever get floppy?
One of the best photos I have ever taken while botanizing is of a gray treefrog having a quiet soak on a cup plant.

I didn’t realize that southern Michigan was the northern range for Cup Plant. Can be kind of common in Indiana. https://www.michiganflora.net/record/447
I have one too, I love it and so do the pollinators and gold finches.
Mine are legit 10ft tall but they self seed EVERYWHERE. I’m literally pulling out seedlings everywhere I see. Definitely something to keep in mind if you leave the seed heads up.
