I got this ficus as a tiny plantnet. Never liked it much, and refused to water it over the past decades. But it did not want to die.
It took over my houses. Refuses to pay rent. And I had to vacate the premises since it wasn't save anymore to live in the same building as this chlorophyllic nightmare!

These squatter laws are so unreasonable. Try introducing thrips and spider mites into the environment. It will probably want to leave on its own so you don’t have to start the eviction process.

    Good luck.

I saw in a movie that these things can happen. In the end the plant ends up entangling you in a sheet and using you like a cigar. It smokes you completely… be careful.

Release a cat in that & see how long it takes to be gone! Mealybugs are another slow death option.

cut the leaves open and harvest all the yummy ficus milk from it at least you’ll have that 😋
