Heyya folks, I'm back again.

In my previous post (https://www.reddit.com/r/Lithops/s/s73BtlXDng) I received advice on how to treat my lithop, actually just left it alone, and let the old leaves shrivel, and the new ones emerge. Stopped any watering, and this is the current state we're at.

I tried ro check the lifecycles, but no idea again, on how to progress.
Seperate and repot?
Leave alone?

  1. It looks very healthy, just leave it alone unless you want to separate them

  2. Really needs a deeper pot and planting near flush with the soil, then put in sunniest spot

  3. I would not separate! Its the same plant on a single tap root and lithops generally don’t grow the tap root back if its damaged, so separating could kill both leaf pairs.

The pots a little shallow so you could repot in something slightly deeper. I see you’ve got advice saying plant it a little deeper too, I prefer not to do that personally because it means more actual plant underground against the soil when you water it and more chance of rot. However, it can work fine if you’d prefer that aesthetically, just put pebbles or something as the top later..

Water when the plant gets a bit wrinkly. If that doesn’t happen, it may not have enough light.
