Ignore the sad back yard it’s a work in progress. We know the tree probably needs a lot more water (maybe) but we’re going to put an irrigation system in here soon to plant grass etc. We loooove this tree. We live in zone 6B in Western Colorado.

Can you show a close-up of the leaves?
You should know that ~~one~~ two distant, low-res images don’t help anyone tell you anything…something… about your tree from here. It looks like a hacked-up lanceleaf cottonwood, maybe, who knows.
